Thermex swimming pool heat exchangers are based directly on our established range of marine oil coolers.

Using the same proven design and construction technology, our versatile range offers an energy-efficient and economical solution for maintaining near constant year-round water temperatures in swimming pools, spas, plunge pools, hot tubs and hydrotherapy pools, along with aquatic pools and ponds.

We have 40+ years of engineering experience and an outstanding reputation for manufacturing reliable swimming pool heat exchangers which are compatible with most heating systems.

This includes solar, heat pump (air or ground), and direct resistance heating systems, as well as traditional gas or oil burning boilers.

High Performance Titanium

Extruded aluminium bodies with an anodised finish, glass-filled nylon headers and a highly corrosive resistant, floating, titanium tube stack all add up to a premium product you can rely on.

Fit and forget directly into most pool plant-room pipework via the ABS solvent weld connector ports will help improve performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Due to its high thermal conductivity, titanium tube stacks offer increased thermal transfer efficiencies while operating with higher flow rates when compared to traditional CuNi tube stacks. This results in a more compact, cost-effective unit offering improved performance heating a body of water with a significant reduction in energy costs.

With the ability to operate in virtually all leisure pool water types, including fresh water, seawater and saltwater chlorinators with chlorine levels of up to 15 ppm, titanium has the added benefit of eliminating the occurrence of induced electrochemical, galvanic corrosion. This extends tube stack life span indefinitely, offering outstanding longevity and unrivalled performance.

Standard Copper Nickel

Our standard range of swimming pool heat exchangers feature extruded aluminium bodies, gun metal headers and 90/10 cupronickel tube stacks, which are ideal for chlorinated water with free chlorine levels of 1 to 3 ppm with a pH level of 7.2 to 7.8.
