The Thermex range of shell and tube hydraulic coolers are essential for efficient dissipation of excess heat to ensure the optimum performance of any hydraulically driven industrial and process equipment.

Our modular approach to component parts allow flexible versatility and cost-effective solutions to heat exchanger design We utilise industry proven designs and technology which combine high performance with durability and reliability.

2300/2500 Series - extruded aluminum bodies

2700/2800 Series – cast aluminium bodies

Cast iron headers for use with freshwater cooling medium

3 pass cooling configurations as standard

90/10 Cupronickel tube stacks

Floating tube stack eliminate thermal expansion damage and allows easy access for removal

Industry standard BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) threaded port sizes

Leak detection rings (2700/2800: standard, 2300/2500: optional)

Viton seals allow operating temperatures up to 120°C

Duty Range: 3kW to 750kW (subject to flow rates and temperatures)

Maximum Working Pressure: Oil Side @ 20-30 Bar

Maximum Working Pressure: Water Side @ 10 Bar

Options available

Other headers materials available include gun metal and glass-filled nylon composite

1 and 2 pass cooling configurations on request

Tube stack material options include 70/30 cupronickel, 304 stainless steel and titanium
