BESPOKE ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS
STRATEGIC APPROACH TO MATERIAL SELECTION

Header tank heat exchangers are an ideal solution for cooling engine jacket water on marine and land-based engines where air cooling isn’t achievable due to installation or operating constraints.

Designed for use with a variety of coolants including fresh water, sea water or even contaminated, mineral rich water, they ensure optimum performance for a wide range of demanding engine cooling applications with high ambient temperatures.

Drawing from decades of cross-sector expertise, our experienced design team utilise industry proven design technology to support global OEMs with bespoke engineered solutions.

Our robust and efficient header tank heat exchangers combine standard shell and tube heat exchanger designs with an integral, self-contained water expansion tank.

Featuring a floating tube stack design to eliminate thermal expansion damage and allow easy access for removal during service and inspection routines, our experienced design team can design bespoke units with 1, 2 or 3 pass coolant options.

We utilise a strategic approach to material selection. Options cover ICE power plants commonly found on marinised engines utilised for commercial, recreational and naval vessels, as well as options for integration into complete combined heat and power (CHP) or cogeneration systems typically found on static genset and power plants.

We provide complete design and engineering support for standard and bespoke thermal transfer products, combining in-house consultative design, rapid prototype validation and extensive manufacturing capabilities.
