Brazed Plate
Heat Exchangers

Product Profile

ENGINEERED WITH PRECISION
COMPACT HEAT TRANSFER SOLUTIONS

A brazed plate heat exchanger consists of a series of thin pressed corrugated plates that are stacked and brazed together, combining to create channels through which hot and cold fluids can be distributed.

Using the same liquid-to-liquid heat transfer principles as shell and tube designs, they can provide a more compact and lightweight heat transfer solution within certain operational conditions.

Engineered with precision, and a robust and reliable construction, they can offer efficient and maintenance-free operation in numerous applications involving cooling, heating, evaporation and condensing.

Committed to quality, efficiency and sustainability, our experienced engineers draw from over 45 years of design and manufacturing experience to carefully manipulate certain design characteristics to deliver highly efficient bespoke brazed plate heat exchangers.

Based on submitted thermal data, each unit is designed for optimised duty performance with careful consideration of certain key features such as materials used, the size and number of individual plates, as well as selecting from numerous hydrodynamic plate designs for optimum channel asymmetry.

Delivering unparalleled efficiency and reliability for a diverse range of applications, brazed plate heat exchangers have a myriad of uses:

Static and mobile engine cooling.

Hydraulic, transmission and lubricating oil cooling.

Diesel fuel cooling.

Pumps and compressors.

Data centres.

Marine HVAC and marinised power trains.

Processing of food, drink, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

We provide complete design and engineering support for standard and bespoke thermal transfer products, combining in-house consultative design, rapid prototype validation and extensive manufacturing capabilities.
