Often known as generators or generator sets, gensets play a critical role as independent power sources providing electricity without access to the power grid. Commonly combining an internal combustion engine (ICE) with an alternator to convert fuel (most commonly diesel) to electricity, gensets provide emergency backup in case of grid failure and routinely operate in the most extreme and challenging environmental conditions.

Thermex has decades of cross-sector expertise to draw from, designing and building complete advanced thermal management products for air, oil and water typically found in static genset ICEs.

Our extensive range of fully tested and validated heat exchangers is designed to meet demanding technical and system requirements, often combining a range of products (including engine jacket water coolers, turbo intercoolers, transmission and lubrication oil coolers) for a complete Combined Heat and Power (CHP) or cogeneration system that can improve engine performance and efficiency by up to 80%.
