A long and trusted supply chain partner to the armed forces, Thermex has extensive experience designing and building thermal transfer solutions for both military and naval assets.

Utilising comprehensive expertise and industry knowledge, we work closely with OEMs and strategic MRO (maintenance, repair and operational) organisations to effectively manage any assets’ through-life cooling requirements. This ensures reliable safety-critical operations of military capabilities throughout their entire lifecycle from inception through to retirement – regardless of location.

We provide a wide variety of bespoke cooling solutions for numerous applications typically found onboard naval vessels including aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, corvettes, amphibious and patrol ships, along with submarines, operational support, logistics and auxiliary vessels.

Our experienced engineering team can design and build heat transfer solutions for air, oil and water frequently used for lubrication systems, engine jacket water, and turbo intercoolers. Additionally, hydraulic oil coolers for applications using on-board fluid power such as steering systems, gearboxes, stabilisation systems, windlasses, winches, critical valve systems and Launch & Recovery Systems (LARS).

We also design and manufacture complete engine cooling packs for ground support vehicles (tracked, wheeled and amphibious) used for mobile engineering equipment, logistics, communication and surveillance equipment, artillery and air defence.

JOSCAR accredited, Thermex is an approved supplier on the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register. JOSCAR is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industry, and considered an essential supply chain management and purchasing database.

Through a robust verification process, JOSCAR can determine if a supplier is “fit for business”.
