REGULATORY & LEGISLATIVE COMPLIANCE
CREDIBILITY, CONFIDENCE & TRUST
QUALITY THAT GUARANTEES SAFETY & PERFORMANCE
An integral part to all aspects of the business, and our commitment to regulatory and legislative compliance, Thermex works in partnership with Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to meet key objectives outlined within our quality management system in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001: 2015.
This ensures continuous improvement in performance and customer satisfaction, and instils credibility, confidence and trust in the supply chain, providing assurance our products guarantee our global customer base meets their quality and legal obligations.
Under the guidance of the LRQA auditing authority, we also employ ISO 14001: 2015 methodology to systematically manage our environmental responsibilities covering waste reduction, efficient use of raw materials, recycling strategies and energy consumption.
To guarantee safety and performance, with a commitment to quality, we manufacture pressure vessels that adhere to stringent internationally recognised standards. This includes the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), Tubular Exchangers Manufacturers Association (TEMA) and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, (ASME VIII). All of these documents are globally recognised, mandatory inspection requirements.
Additionally, with 45 years of experience supplying pressure vessels into the worldwide marine industry, we work closely with several IACS Members (International Association of Classification Societies) for third party accreditation and compliance including Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas and Det Norske Veritas.
100% Test Policy - every heat exchanger manufactured and despatched by Thermex undergoes comprehensive hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to validate safety and performance.
For full traceability, our products feature a unique data plate recording both part number and serial number, with a 12-month warranty supplied for each product as standard. For additional reassurance, we also offer Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) reporting up to Level 5 when required.
JOSCAR ACCREDITATION
“Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register - A collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industry.”
Thermex is an approved supplier and JOSCAR registered. JOSCAR is an essential accredited supply chain management and purchasing database utilised for pre-qualification and throughout the supplier relationship lifecycle as a means of reducing administrative procurement burden.
Through verification of capabilities, quality assurance, information security, business continuity, insurance, financial health and ethical operations, using JOSCAR can determine if a supplier is “fit for business”.
