Copper Shell Heat Exchangers

As not all fluids are compatible with Aluminium, Thermex can also supply the 2000 series shell and tube heat exchangers with Copper bodies. The copper shell heat exchanger range is ideal for water cooling applications where the Glycol content is less than 25% or for other fluids which are not compatible with Aluminium.

Features of the copper shell heat exchangers include;

• 90/10 Cupro-Nickel Tubes (Industrial applications).
• Copper alloy shell.
• Cast iron headers (Industrial applications).
• Gun metal headers (Marine applications).
• Nitrile seals. (Viton seals are available for applications where operating temperatures >100ºC)
• Ideal water to water heat exchangers

 For applications where neither Aluminium or Copper is suitable, Thermex can also supply Stainless Steel and Titanium Heat Exchangers
